OUR PRIEST is the Reverend Pr. Douglas Pieper, who also serves as president of the S.E.C.
House of Delegates. He attended the Juilliard School, New York University, and Nashotah House
Theological Seminary and received a B.A. degree from Gordon College and an M.Div. degree
from George Mercer School of Theology. He has done missionary work in Costs Rica, El
Salvador, Germany and Mexico. He is treasurer of the Daystar Center for Spiritual Recovery and
serves on the board of directors of the Wednesday Club. By secular profession he teaches voice
and piano and conducts seminars for music teachers throughout the country.
Priest, William Martin Sloane graduated from York College of Pennsylvania [B.A.], London
Cuildhall University (Cert.Eng.L.) Liberty University (MAR), Widener University (J.D.), Temple
University CLL.M. (Labor), and the University of Biblical Studies st Seminary [Ph.D. in Religion].
He holds Certification from the American College of Counselors and is a Diplomate of the Oxford
Society of Scholars. He serves as legal counsel to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives
and as a maior in the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary (Civil Air Patrol) and teaches at Elizabethtown
College, Widener University School of Law, and Wilson College.
OUR SENIOR WARDEN for 1997 is Mr. Mark Stephen Daniel of Middletown. He holds a B.A.
degree in Journalism from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and works as a data analyst
for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. He is an EMT and Red Cross first-aid and CPR
instructor.
JUNIOR WARDEN for 1997 is Mr. Gregory Schindler of Harrisburg, a graduate of Bishop
McDevitt High School. He works for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
SECRETARY-TREASURER for 1997 is Mrs, EIena Daniel of Middletown. She attended Temple
University and holds an A.A. degree from Atlantic Community College in New jersey. She is a
registered nurse, EMT, and Red Cross first-aid and CPR instructor. She is a novice in the
Franciscan Order of the Divine Compassion, a conservative, traditional, theologically orthodox
Angle-Catholic religious order closely following in the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi.
Also a VESTRYMAN for 1997 is Mr. Russell E. Starner of York, who serves as an acolyte.
